Technology
Linc has pioneered innovative approaches in information management throughout its history. In the clinical engineering arena, we were the first organization to develop uniform, computerized biomedical glossaries of equipment types, manufacturers, and model numbers, a feature which some service organizations still do not use today.
We were among the first to move from a manual system to one based on data processing, and pioneered the use of quality improvement indicators, a precursor to today’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as early as 1982. Similarly, We pioneered the adoption of graphical interfaces, networking, and client based remote access to data.
The key to successful management of technology is having the ability to analyze results and then acting to implement changes which will affect the outcome in a positive manner and a timely fashion. Linc Health’s Information Management System, is a fourth generation tool for documenting, reporting out, and interpreting the vast quantity of information created by the asset management process. Our customers can directly access targeted reports, status presentations, and decision support tools at the click of a mouse, through a secure user interface, or Customer Facing Portal.
Linc utilizes an award winning technology platform. In 2007 Linc was the first service organization worldwide to be awarded the Microsoft Pinnacle Award. Linc utilizes Microsoft SharePoint® Portal technology to gather, track, trend, report and improve on operational efficiencies and productivity. The use of this industry leading technology allows our customers, managers and staff 24X7 access to real time critical information and department statistics. Linc bases our daily and strategic decisions pertaining to equipment replacement, staffing needs and proactive management on the quality data that we are able to extract. Access to quality real time facility information has proven invaluable for many of our customer and business partners during budget time, project evaluation and strategic building and planning activities.
